LW007-PIR

LoRaWAN Motion Sensor

The LW007-PIR is a passive infrared-based LoRaWAN motion sensor used to detect motion or occupancy. It can detect whether there is movement within the detection range and send this status change via the LoRaWAN network. With additional features such as door status detection, temperature and humidity monitoring, it is well-suited for various applications, including offices, residential spaces, industrial buildings, and other scenarios.

Product Features

> Compact and portable size: 70mm*50mm*38mm
> Front PIR sensor, door magnetic detection sensor, and temperature and humidity sensor
> 1 LED light for indicating on/off state, low power status and restoring factory settings
> Support customizable brackets with different opening angles
> Power button on the side, and reset button at the bottom of the battery case for preventing the device from being reset at will

> Ventilation hole designed at the bottom left of the front side for more accurate temperature and humidity monitoring
> Wide temperature range (-30℃ – 60℃) and humidity range (0 – 95%) for multi-scenario application
> Easy configuration via Bluetooth connection with phone and support for factory default parameter settings
> Easy configuration by connecting your phone with Bluetooth and setting factory default parameters is supported

Space Occupancy Detection

The LW007 LoRaWAN motion sensor detects personnel activities within its detection area using the built-in PIR sensor, providing information on space occupancy. In smart offices, it enables efficient conference room booking by indicating the status of each room. If a booked conference room is occupied by someone else, a notification is sent and the room status is marked as occupied, allowing colleagues to promptly reserve an available room.

Door Magnetic Induction

The LW007 LoRaWAN motion sensor, along with the magnetic accessory, detects door openings and closings using the built-in hall sensor when installed on the door and door frame. This information is then reported as a payload message to the server, providing an effective method to monitor staff entry, exit, and room space utilization.

Environmental Temperature & Humidity Monitoring

The LW007-PIR LoRaWAN motion sensor, equipped with a temperature and humidity sensor, periodically uploads environmental data to the server via LoRaWAN. Based on the reported data, you can monitor the temperature, humidity, and environmental changes. This facilitates timely anomaly handling and statistical analysis of the data.

Temperature overrun alarm: Users can set upper and lower temperature limits. When the ambient temperature exceeds this range, an alarm message is immediately sent to the server, notifying the user of the anomaly.

Temperature change alarm: Temperature change alarm: If the temperature change exceeds the set value within the designated time, the sensor reports the payload information. Users can customize the time and change value. For instance, if a 1-hour time limit and a 2°C change value are set, an alarm message is sent if the temperature fluctuates by more than 2°C within that hour, alerting users of abnormal temperature changes.

Battery Management

Long battery life with up to five years in typical application scenarios.
Low power notification: When the device is in the low power state, a message will be immediately sent to the server to remind the user for replacing the battery.

The PIR is triggered 20 times a day and report Payload. The detection duration is 10 seconds (plus the 10s delay time by default)

Trigger the door magnetic detection function 20 times a day and then report Payload

Bluetooth broadcasting is running continuously by parameters in default

The data is deliver in SF10 by default
